On June 29, 2009 The Charles Penzone Family of Salons hosted its 12th annual Mother/Daughter Spa Day at the Grand Salon in Dublin from 4-8 p.m.
The Charles Penzone Salons collaborated with A Kid Again, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing year-round fun-filled group activities for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families, to provide this day of pampering to teenage girls and their mothers.
Over 65 Charles Penzone team members carried on the tradition of volunteering services by donating their time and talent for this year’s event, despite the state of the economy. Ninety-nine A Kid Again daughters and mothers enjoyed spa and hair services, dinner and special activities to provide them a day of relaxation at the Salon. Each honoree, and her mother, received two spa or salon services, dinner and a special beauty class geared toward her individual needs.
