"It's a Woman's World" - THE DAY LOOK

FASHION  Office wear, no surprise, has taken a turn to the masculine.  People are serious about their business and want to make it show.  Crisp, classic tailoring is the key to this business-ready look.

HAIR  Hair is kept clean and traditional—short, simple looks abound as well.  Natural, clean and polished looks are the consistent theme; what a business woman would wear to work.

MAKEUP  Foundation for this fall and winter is more natural & sheer.  Light foundation or tinted moisturizers will keep the look clean and minimalist.  Brows are bold and full.

NAILS There’s no better look than the black and white tuxedo for nails to complement the masculine look of this season.  And for the busy woman, the Semi-Permanent Axxium manicure shades offered in our salons now are always a deal maker.

"Parisian Chic" - THE EVENING LOOK

FASHION An evening out, even if just down the block, feels like a step back in time to the streets of Paris.  Elegant draping and soft flowing fabrics such as silk and satin play into this key look.  The color for the evening inspiration is nude to black, color is subdued.

HAIR The hair looks just as elegant with classic French twists, chignons and beautiful soft flowing locks.  Styled waves, deep side parts and soft 40s styling are the key.

MAKEUP  Bold lips in bright or dark reds along with juicy berry colors will dress up any fall evening look.  Be sure to keep lips the focus!  Eyes and cheek should be soft and neutral.

NAILS  A matte finish on the nail accompanies the elegance of the Parisian Chic look.  And to add even more chic to a look, wear varying shades of color on your hand.

"Nightclub Nostalgia" - THE WEEKEND LOOK

FASHION  If the office looks are keeping you down and feel too stiff, look no further than Friday night to get out of your shell.  Let your hair down with the flashback to 80’s party styling.  This fall trend gives you the freedom to pull everything from hot pink to high shoulder pads.

HAIR  Let hair be free and wild!  Curls and other funky styles will prevail.

MAKEUP  The extreme smoky eye is essential for this fall and winter.  Eyes are dark and bold with eyeshadow colors of black, deep purple and bronze metallics along with a thick full coat of black mascara.  Keep lips clean and natural looking with a nude lip color.

NAILS  Mixed metals are all over the runway, especially for nails!  Metallic colors and designs can be found on the runway and the nightclubs—and a weekend look is not complete without it!

The fall and winter fashions were brought to us by Wardrobe Therapy and can be found at local, Columbus boutiques: Godfry’s, Ladybird, Leal and Rowe.
